IAEB Chairman for Indonesia, Dr Supar Wasesa, holds a Visiting Lecturer at UiTM Melaka on 06 December 2023
Melaka, December 6, 2023 – Dr. Supar Wasesa, Chair of the
Indonesia International Association of Economics & Business (IAEB) for
Indonesia, held a Visiting Lecturer activity at Universiti Teknologi MARA
(UiTM) Melaka on December 6, 2023. This event was enthusiastically welcomed by
UiTM students and lecturers interested in deepening their economics and
business knowledge.
In his guest lecture, Dr. Supar Wasesa delivered material on
"Innovation and Digital Transformation in the Global Economy". He
outlined the latest trends in technological innovation and how digital
transformation is changing the global economic landscape. Dr. Wasesa also
discussed the impact of technology on the business sector, including changes in
traditional business models, adaptation of corporate strategies, and new
opportunities emerging from developments in digital technology.
Dr. Supar Wasesa emphasized the importance of students
understanding and adopting the latest technology to face future challenges.
"In this digital era, the ability to innovate and adapt quickly is very
crucial. Higher education must be able to prepare students to become leaders
who are ready to face change," said Dr. Wasesa.
This activity provides theoretical insight and includes
interactive discussions where students can directly ask Dr. Wasesa questions
regarding various innovation and digital transformation issues. This discussion
is a valuable opportunity for students to get a direct perspective from an
experienced expert.
This Visiting Lecturer activity is part of IAEB's ongoing
efforts to support the development of education and research in economics and
business and strengthen international cooperation with various higher education
institutions.
With the success of this event, it is hoped that
collaboration between IAEB and UiTM Melaka will become closer, opening up
opportunities for further collaboration in various academic and research
programs in the future.
